LOVE GOD WITH EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT.
LOVE PEOPLE WITH EVERYTHING HE GIVES YOU.
The Onyx House is much more than a place to live. It is a place to develop key relationships (God, others, our self) in the context of a caring community of other followers of Jesus. It is a place to grow together – celebrating and enjoying the good times, and supporting and encouraging each other through tough times. Whether it is attending a service on a Friday night, enjoying a legendary meal at the house, or living here while you work on your college education, we hope that this is a place where you experience the love of Jesus in tangible, practical and wholistic ways similar to what we read about the earliest Christian community (Acts 2:42-74).
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all public worship services at the Onyx House have been cancelled until further notice. You can find out about other online or in-person activities we are doing on our FaceBook and Instagram feeds.
Every Friday night at 7:30PM (Tuesday's at 8PM in the Summer), the Onyx House hosts a worship service for College-Age adults. We sing, pray, study the scriptures and receive communion together. We also have food and fun activities planned for after service. This is a time to gather with other students to focus our minds and hearts on Jesus and to share His love with one another.

Austin and Kate Breault
Kate and Austin serve on the leadership team as the House Parents, and live in an apartment on site. They met each other at the Onyx House and have been married for three years. They have been going to church at Eugene Faith Center since moving to Eugene in 2010 to attend the University of Oregon. Previous to this role, Kate and Austin were both residents at The Onyx House while attending school, and later moved back into the house post graduation to become the House Managers of the men’s and women’s floors. Since graduating in 2014, Kate has been working as the Leasing Agent at Northwoods, a local property management company. In 2013, Austin was hired with Verizon Wireless and now works as a Business Representative in the greater Eugene area.
